Gulf Paradise Hotel hosts Philippine food fest

Gulf Paradise Hotel joins the Philippine festivities in celebration their 114th Anniversary of the declaration of the Independence day on June 12, and in coordination with the Embassy of the Philippines, it having a 10 day Food festival – a Dinner Buffet with a mouth watering experience of the finest dishes cooked in authentic style by Chef Leandro and his team from the Philippines from June 14 to the 23.

The Buffet is priced at QR60 per adult and QR30 for children under 12 years, as the hotel wishes to extend the opportunity to a larger mass who could participate in the celebration. The Venue for the food festival is Al Thoraya Restaurant, located on the ground floor - lobby level of the hotel.

The “Partner Sponsors” for this event is PEPSI, DILMAH TEA and GULF STAR Event Deco.

Executive Chef Leandro proudly comments “the Philippine cuisine is a combination of sweet, sour and spices. The specialty dish will be the chicken Adobo, where it would have the flavors of sweet & sour and different variety of cooked vegetables in shrimp paste and many more. He also commented that vegetarian patrons would also be taken care of, as he would also have a reasonable choice of vegetarian dishes”.

The table reservations will be taken on two time slots i.e. 6pm to 8pm and 8pm to 10pm, where the guests could take their time to enjoy the spread in the Buffet, where there would be a “daily” change of the Menu and it would have a variety of salads, soup, hot dishes and desserts.
